The basic fitting is a dedicated product for joining metric MDPE pipe. It will securely join the pipe without any additional components. However, for the purpose of WRAS approval, a plastic liner is used which is pushed into the pipe.

The fitting can be regarded as “Push Fit” as it is possible to simply loosen the nut, push it together and tighten. The fittings can be easily adapted for use with other pipe materials simply by adding an adaptor. In addition, there are also dedicated imperial to metric fittings.

Plasson offers a full range of adaptors to provide exceptional adaptability.

PLASSON is a world leader in the production of plastic pipe fittings. Our range of products comprises over 1000 different types of fittings and valves, making it one of the widest ranges in the world.

MDPE Compression Fittings

Compression Fittings

These fittings are made for joining polyethylene pipes and are designed according to ISO standards. The fittings are suitable for working pressure up to 16 bar. The fittings are used in agriculture, industry, urban water installations, mines etc. The fittings are available in sizes 16mm-160mm.

MDPE Valves

Valves

These Plasson rigid valves made of polypropylene are suitable for installation in any system where reliable corrosion-free valves are required. The angle seat valves have very low pressure loss. The valves (and check valves) are especially designed for systems where one or both sides of the valve are connected to plastic pipes.

The valves are available in sizes 1/2"-2".
