Ductile Iron Manhole Covers & Gully Grates & Frames

A comprehensive range of access covers and gratings for the sewerage and drainage industry. All products are manufactured under ISO 9001 and carry the BSI Kitemark where applicable. The range uses the benefits of ductile iron to
provide reliable access solutions across the full spectrum of BS (EN) 124 loadings from Class A15 to E600 and through a wide variety of sizes.

Ermatic Gas & Water Tight Covers

Ermatic products provide a comprehensive and highly specified range of access covers. The horizontal and vertical faces of the cover and frame are machined to give metal to metal contact between the seating faces. The addition of a film of grease renders the cover surface watertight.

Galvanised Steel Access Covers

A range of fabricated covers are available in galvanized steel.

These include the following:

  • Recessed pavior covers for monoblock or concrete infill.
  • Solid top covers in a range of loading classes.
  • Specialist fabrications for the water & sewerage industries.

D400 - 'Highway' Ductile Iron Cover & Frames

Our Highway design incorporates several patented features that have been
proven to prolong the life of the manhole cover assembly in high intensity
trafficked areas. Our Highways design meets all the recommendations put
forward in the Highways Authorities Design Manual for Roads and Bridges
HA104/02, which specifically highlights the design features that are
incorporated in our Highway and Unite designs.

Our Utility range is based upon the standard square framed manhole cover design commonly used throughout the UK. By using finit element analysis at the design stage we have been able to not only improve the performance but also gain great efficiencies in manufacture. This has enabled us to provide a cost-effective product suitable for all locations, that is both to EN-124.
