POLYETHYLEN PIPE FOR WATER, SEWAGE & GAS

Polyethene Pipes

High quality approved products, designed and manufactured within an approved and registered BS EN ISO 9001 quality system.

PE pipes are available in 6 and 12 metre straight lengths. Other lengths can be made to order. Pipe up to 180mm OD is also available in coils of 50m, 100m and 150m and can be supplied in longer lengths on drums. Pipe can also be extruded with four co-axial stripes to identify the contents being conveyed or to identify the application.

Pipes are extruded in two materials - PE80 (MDPE) and PE100 (HPPE) in the following colours:

  • BLUE - For potable water supply below the ground.
  • YELLOW - For Gas supply below the ground.
  • BLACK - UK potable water supplies above the ground and
industrial (sewerage, mining and quarry) applications
    above and below the ground.

Fusion Fittings

Electrofusion fittings for fast and efficient joining of PE pipe systems.
Spigot fittings for butt-fusion joining of PE pipe Systems.
PE80 & PE100 spigot and socket type push fittings for the water industry.
Electro & Butt Fusion Welding Equipment.

MDPE Water Service Pipe (20-63mm)

MDPE Coated Copper Pipe

The Copper pipes are produced to EN1057-R220 and the blue polyethylene sheath complies with BS 3412. The external coating of the polyethylene protects the copper pipe from external corrosion and improves the resistance of the pipe to mechanical damage.

Glynwed Protecta-Line

Protecta-line is an award winning innovative PE pipeline solution specifically designed for the safe transportation of drinking water through brownfield sites and other types of contaminated land. With WRAS approval the system provide
total peace of mind to the highest standards and meets all of the safety legislation demanded by water companies and customers alike. Protecta-Line combines all of the advantages of traditional PE pipe with a barrier layer to prevent permeation and is offered in pipe diameters of 25mm through to
180mm. Protecta-line pipes can be butt-fused where local water bylaws permit, or by any of three different types of fittings: mechanical compression fittings up to 63mm, fluid compression fittings from 63mm - 180mm or electrofusion fittings for sizes above 63mm (where local water bylaws allow).
