Access Chambers

The chambers are designed to comply with the highways installation directive for a 450mm minimum clearance cover between the surface and ducting for applications in the footways and 750mm for other carriageway applications. The chambers are manufactured by rotational moulding and contain a high percentage of recycled material making the product more environmentally friendly than alternative systems.

Anti-Slip Composite covers

The usual benefits of rust proof and maintenance free cover are now enhanced with an improved skid resistance surface and the cover is supplied complete with a standard lock facility to prevent unauthorised chamber entry.

Galvanised Frames

Galvanised steel frames act as formers for the chamber, maintaining the clear opening size specified. The frames provide height and tilt adjustment at surface level. For added security, Civils & Lintels supply the universal frame locked as standard. For installations in areas of block or tactile paving, frames are available with a recessed inner tray and a lowered edge that can be paved up to, avoiding cuts. A dropped frame is also available for use with a Centurion composite cover in paved areas.

 

Centurion Plus Chamber System

A freestanding, stackable chamber system complete with an integral cover, 150mm deep sections, removing the need for a costly, traditional steel or ductile iron frame.

Features:

  • No need for traditional galvanised or ductile frame support
  • No need for concrete thus eliminating cost and time during installation
  • Rebated chamber design enables B125 cover to fit flush with chamber
  • Decorative concrete, block paviors, slabs etc can be laid directly alongside the chamber creating a polished, surface level finish
  • Complete system manufactured from mixture of thermoset moulding compounds
  • Central removable beam where necessary
