A TOUGH ONE PIECE CHANNEL DRAINAGE SYSTEM

ACO RoadDrain is a tough one piece channel drainage system ideal for medium to heavy-duty highway, distribution yards and airfield applications.

Manufactured from Vienite, ACO high strength recycled polymer concrete, the one piece system is strong and robust in design and the absence of separate gratings eliminates the risk of loss or vandalism. The integral channel and grating design also improves the inherent strength of the system.

Most significantly ACO RoadDrain carries the BSI Kitemark which ensures that the recycled materials and the process used to manufacture it, produce consistently high quality BS EN 1433: 2002 marked product. The product is also fully compliant with national highways and transport agencies (UK) and National Roads Authority (ROI) requirements for motorway and major trunk roads.

KerbDrain is an award winning combined kerb and drainage system specifically designed and developed to form an integral part of any modern, sustainable surface water management solution

It is the first combined kerb drainage system of its kind to use recycled materials and be independently certified and Kitemarked to BS EN 1433: 2002. The one-piece system is suitable for a wide range of applications including major and minor highways, car parks, and commercial and urban landscaping.

In recognition of ACO KerbDrain’s ground breaking one-piece design, the system was awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation in 2001.

SURFACE DRAINAGE FOR HEAVY DUTY APPLICATIONS.

ACO S Range is a channel drainage system designed to provide efficient removal of surface water in heavy duty applications.

Manufactured from Vienite, ACO high strength recycled polymer concrete, ACO S Range is tough channel drainage system with excellent chemical resistance. Integral cast iron edge rails provide maximum protection for the channel body.

The system is fully certified to BS EN 1433: 2002 up to and including Load Class F 900 applications - suitable for extremely high wheel loads including ports, docks and aircraft pavements

MULTIDRAIN MD

COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL APPLICATIONS

ACO MultiDrain MD is a high strength channel drainage system designed to provide an economical solution for the efficient removal of surface water.

The system is suitable for use in a wide range of applications including commercial and residential developments, pedestrian precincts, landscaping and parking areas for all vehicle types. The channel unit is manufactured from Vienite, ACO’s high strength polymer concrete and forms the main component of the system. 

ACO MultiDrain MD is a tough and robust channel drainage system which provides high chemical resistance and the lightweight design ensures quick and easy installation. As standard, channels are manufactured with UltraSTEEL protective edge rails. The UltraSTEEL rails, with their unique patented design, provide optimum channel protection and improved bonding between the channel sides and the surrounding pavement material.

The system is fully certificated and CE marked to BS EN 1433:2002 from Load Class A 15 pedestrian areas, up to and including Load Class D 400 suitable for parking of all types of road vehicles*. 

*This system is not suitable for carriageways of public roads or motorways.

LATEST GENERATION OF CHANNEL DRAINAGE SYSTEMS

The latest generation of channel drainage systems, ACO MultiDrain MD, has a range of gratings to complement installations which require discreet slot drainage.

Designed as standard with a heelguard 10mm off set drainage inlet, ACO Brickslot is a subtle and unobtrusive grating which when combined with ACO MultiDrain MD galvanised and stainless steel channels, can be used as a solution to complement discreet drainage applications and is ideal for use against building facades.

Compatible with most paving materials, the vertical sides of the grating enable pavements to be laid directly to the units edge. Once installed the system is totally secure and not vulnerable to vandalism or loose gratings. This makes the system suitable for applications such as schools and playgrounds where grating removal can become a hazard.

.ACO MultiDrain MD Brickslot is suitable for Load Class D 400 applications. This product is not suitable for carriageways of public roads or motorways.

ACO MonoDrain is a one-piece channel drainage system that delivers multiple benefits including safety and sustainability, economical and efficient installation and aesthetic choices across applications such as stations, schools, car parks and commercial areas.

Designed to maintain the long term performance and appearance of the installation, its robust one-piece construction removes the risks associated with dislodged or stolen gratings – providing a highly effective alternative to traditional two-part channel and grate systems.

AESTHETICALLY PLEASING INTERFACE BETWEEN PROPRIETARY AND VEGETATED DRAINAGE

The ACO SuDS Swale Inlet unit provides an aesthetically pleasing solution when linking proprietary conveyance drainage systems to vegetated infiltration features such as swales, basins, ponds and water courses.

In comparison to traditional in-situ structures and concrete headwalls, the low profile unit provides a natural looking interface between proprietary and vegetated drainage solutions, complementing the surrounding environment.

The consistent product appearance makes the product ideal for phased or retrofit installation, and the 1 in 3 gradient profile can be used to help construct swales to satisfy the CIRIA C697 guidance (Design Criteria for Swales).
